August martens

August V. Martens is a graduate of Loyola University School of Law where he obtained a Certificate of International Legal Studies in addition to his Juris Doctorate. He became a qualified Mediator in 2008. Martens received a B.S. degree in Marketing and Advertising from the University of Southern Mississippi. He has extensive experience in the mental health field, having served as a psychiatric counselor, and as Quality Assurance Manager of indigent population healthcare services for both the State of Louisiana and the City of New Orleans. Martens maintains a diverse law practice, but focuses primarily in the fields of Wills and Estate Planning, Successions, Family Law, and Social Security Disability. He is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts, as well as the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
